Karin Sonesson participated in the first edition of Vision Art Fair, held in Marbella at the Palacio de Congresos. The fair, previously established in Portugal, marked its first presentation in Spain and brought together a diverse international selection of contemporary artists and galleries.
Sonesson was represented with the painting Checkmate (sold), exhibited at the booth of Fusion Art Gallery Marbella. The work draws conceptual inspiration from "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free", exploring themes of freedom, emotional autonomy, and release through a symbolic visual narrative.
The participation at Vision Art Fair marked an important moment in Sonesson’s artistic journey in Marbella, situating her work within an international fair context and affirming its resonance beyond a local setting.
