Luminous Art Magic – International Exhibition
Karin Sonesson participated in the exhibition Luminous Art Magic at Fusion Art Gallery, held from September 28 to October 18, alongside a selection of 40 international artists.
At the vernissage, Sonesson introduced two new paintings created specifically for this period of transition in her practice. These works marked the first pieces she completed after relocating to Marbella in September 2024 and reflect a renewed focus on presence, vitality, and lived experience.
The paintings, Sorrow & Beauty and Alive (sold), both measure 80 × 100 cm and are executed in acrylic. Together, they explore the tension between vulnerability and vitality, capturing a shift from mere existence toward a more conscious and embodied way of living.
